Ok,e leido este libro al igual que el segundo,en estos momentos voy por el ultimo y aqui les va mi opinion...Mas alla de los tabues,de lo que piensan nuestras abuelitas creo debemos ser mas realistas y darnos cuenta que vivimos en un mundo mucho mas promiscuo por asi decirlo y en donde los seres humanos estamos adelantandonos en muchas cosas.El libro al principio me estaba aburriendo y solo cuando llegue a la parte donde Ana entrevista a Christian fue que empeso a gustarme y obvio termine leyendolo todo.No me gusto que fuera traducido al espanol de Espana,preferiria mas espanol latino americano y si ay una palabra que odie mas en este libro fue 'UAU" siempre que la miraba lo unico que me venia a la mente era "OH GOOD KILL ME NOW" y para mi desgracia se repite en los 3 libros constantemente so imaginen.Si en el primer libro les parecio que habia mucho sexo esperen a leer el segundo,ay tanto pero tanto sexo que les juro ya me aburria a tal punto que deseaba que apareciera una trama mas complicada,una tragedia pero bueno el sexo es parte del libro ya que Christian es un hombre con un trastorno sexual muy complicado debido a su ninez tan espantosa,era abusado por su madre,su padrastro en fin una serie de cosas que conllevan a un trauma de por vida tanto asi que le horroriza le toquen el pecho.La relacion sadomasoquista que el le propone a ella cambia (para enterarse leanlo)Por ahi estube leyendo algunos comentarios un poco absurdos a mi entender,decian que si el hombre tiene dninero esta autorizado a tirarse y golpear a una mujer y que de esto se trata el libro,obviamente esa persona no lo a leido en absoluto.Vamos seamos realistas a que mujer no le gusta un hombre que la proteja,que la cele,que la desee,que la ame? Se que un cuarto de juegos sigue siendo mucho tabu en 2012 pero creo y siento que en una relacion de dos personas adultas que se aman cabe absolutamente todo siempre y cuando los dos esten completamente de acuerdo con lo que van a hacer asi que no veo porque el alboroto,me parecen mas promiscuo los abortos por ejemplo,no es mas facil tomar una pastilla anticonceptiba?En fin esta es mi opinion de lo que e leido,esperen mucho sexo,MUCHO,pero tambien dense un tiempo para entender a este hombre tan complicado pero sobre todo entender sus 50 sombras,creo que cualquier persona que pase por todo lo que el paso de chico tendria muchos trastornos y traumas.Espero les guste el libro tanto como a mi,mis 4 estrellas fueron por la traduccion al espanol de espana,por la repeticion de la palabra "UAU" y porque me parecio que habia demaciado sexo pero en cuanto a la historia vale la pena leerle siempre y cuando tengan en mente que es un libro "EROTICO" y no la historia de "La bella durmiente"

Lo bueno:Es una historia entretenida, muy erótica con un tema que hasta poco escuché como las prácticas BDSM las cuales son la preferencia de Grey, que no creo que son muy escandalizadoras en el libro para como me las imaginé.Lo malo:Una trama que ya todos sabemos, realmente las similitudes con Twilight son bastantes, el tipo de familia de él, la chica torpe que es hermosa pero se cree adefesio y tiene una autoestima muy baja, el hombre extremadamente guapo, perfecto y millonario, el amigo enamorado, los padres, el automóvil, etc, etc, etc. Al final casi esperaba que Christian le dijera que era un vampiro.Lo feo:Definitivamente la lectura se me hizo imposiblemente llevadera con las expresiones tan repetitivas "frunció el ceño", "puso los ojos en blanco", "madre mía", "uau", "mie**a", está chica (Anastasia) para ser graduada de literatura no sabe expresarse de otra manera, creo que no hay nadie en el mundo que haga tanto esos gestos. Lo de "la diosa que hay en mí" pues fue pasable porque imaginaba al diablito y angelito haciendo su trabajo como en las caricaturas.Conclusión:Sin los últimos detalles la lectura no hubiera sido tan tortuosa, en lo demás la historia es llana y simple.Es un éxito porque el hombre perfecto es la fantasía de cualquier mujer, con autoestima o no, y porque al parecer a las mujeres nos gustan las causas perdidas y pensar que un hombre va a cambiar por nosotras. El resto es puro entretenimiento.Todavía estoy pensando si leerme los otros libros, necesito un descanso de esas expresiones, además que no quiero pagar tanto por un libro que no me ha gustado mucho, tal vez si baja de precio.

Yo creo que esta obra ha sido creada con un caracter sumamente astuto: el de atraer un publico que gusta de la pornografia. El 80 por ciento de la obra consiste en la descripcion de escenas eroticas, el 15 por ciento se ocupa de la trama en si (lo que ya sabemos: el super rico y guapo se enamora de la chica simple) y el resto de repetir las mismas palabras una y otra vez (uau, madre mia, etc) La obra en si no esta mal escrita, es tan solo un intento bien logrado de atraer a ambos publicos, pero la unica profundidad que tiene es el lujo de detalles con que describe escenas eroticas con lo cual se convierte en atractiva para los amantes de ese genero y hasta para los que no lo son y se dejan seducir. Yo particularmente no pienso pasar del primer libro y ya mismo me estoy buscando un terapeuta, no para digerir las susodichas escenas sino para sacarme un par de "waos" y "madre mia" que se me han quedado atrabancados en el cerebro. (perdonen la falta de acentos, estoy usando una mini laptop y no los encuentro)

Realmente no me explico el revuelo que este "libro" ha causado ni porque me lo han recomendado con tanto entusiasmo: no acabo de verle el "enganche". Calidad literaria ZERO, Cliches A MONTON, Estilo DE ADOLESCENTE CURSI y personajes sacados de telenovas malas. Esto esta en el mismo nivel (sino un poco mas por debajo) de las novelas victorianas de la coleccion Harlequin: heroina imbecil y tartamuda que se sonroja y se deja mangonear por el apuesto macho alfa seguro de si mismo, experimentado en la cama y RICO (por supuesto los tipos del proletariado no son interesantes) Todavia me cuesta aceptar que en pleno siglo 21 haya autoras que describan un personaje femenino como el de Ana, tan pusilanime y aguantona cuando hay un monton de mujeres (desconocidas o famosas) que no le permiten tonterias a ningun hombre (por muy lindo y rico que sea) Ya se que de gustos no se discute (cada cual con lo que le "llega") pero realmente este libro deja mucho que desear......y pensar que quieren hacer una pelicula de eso y que (HORROR DE LOS HORRORES) tiene 2 partes mas. INCREIBLE!!!!

I haven't read the book, but I quickly scanned some parts, it looks like it covers all and it easy to read and understand. However, when it arrived the book has some dents from shipment. The price seems to go up too. I got it for 65$ and now its 70$..

Textbook in good condition. Only thing is that it smells like the previous owner or renter was a heavy smoker and sprayed it with perfume. Its horrible! As someone with asthma I abhor the smell of cigarettes.

I got my book, and it was very helpful. I graduated last month. And to have this book as a good reference is helpful at all time. I'm do glad that I purchase this book.

It was written in already and the hand print was unreadable.

Each chapter brings new "Aha!" moments. Get this book for your staff and board and go back to the drawing board with a matrix map analysis and a sustainable business model. You'll be glad you did!

Tons of great info! I'm starting a non profit and the book is helping me set it up so that financial sustainability and program effectiveness are firmly linked. In my experience with non profits, the biggest problem was the attitude that we should all welcome poverty & self sacrifice because our cause was more important. Nonsense! Now I can see that getting by on a shoestring not only short-changes the effectiveness of vital programs, the constant financial stress causes burnout among the ranks and saps energy that could be better used making a difference. P.S. the Ford Family Foundation offers several titles for free to those starting a non profit.

Bob Garrett is a Visiting Scholar at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He was Professor of Psychology at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and held several positions there, including Chairperson of the Department of Psychology, Faculty Development Coordinator, and Interim Dean of Academic Affairs. He received his BA from the University of Texas at Arlington and his MA and PhD from Baylor University. This is a serious textbook and it is expensive. I purchased the loose-leaf version to save a few dollars. The pages are quite thin and delicate, so you need to take great care with the book. As to the contents, this is one very serious book for those students who want to learn about the works of the brain and how it MIGHT be linked to human behavior. It is not an easy read by any measure!

My 8 year old daughter loves these books. They are a quick and easy read for her!

A great book for children to read. I think that a great book like this is an awesome book to lift your spirits on a sad day. Or a great book to read around a campfire. Or anywhere. I think this book mainly is about a girl who has a very loving family and has a strange magical peculiar tree in her yard. (Review by our 8-year old reader)

My kids love this book because it is written like a song or rap, so it's easy and fun to read with a tempo. The message is basically, "don't sweat the small stuff;" it has been a fantastic learning tool to help build their confidence/positivity. The illustrations are whimsical and the colors pop, just like Pete's buttons!It also introduces the concept of simple math (subtraction), "3-1=2"It comes with a link to the video book!Outstanding children's book with a positive message. I love Pete the Cat and share the books often with my group of 18 3- 4-year-old preschoolers. I preordered this book and just received it. Another hit, I'd say! Charming story about a chill cat--I always imagine him as a California hippie--who slowly loses the buttons on his shirt until he's left with just his bellybutton! The pictures are graphic and easy for kids to see, and there is a lot to discuss: numbers, counting, colors, etc. There is a song that the cat repeatedly sings - not sure what the "official" tune is but it is fun to make up your own. I have one song, my husband sings it differently, my mom yet a third way, and so on. It's all good!

My newly turned 3 year old absolutely adores this book and requests to read it multiple times every night. This is the first hardcover book I've bought my son and I was initially worried he'd have it destroyed by the end of the first night (he eagerly and roughly turns pages). Fortunately, the pages are durable and have a glossy/laminated feel to them. He has definitely bent and/or creased MANY pages after dozens of read throughs, but not a single page has actually ripped.The story itself is very simple and repetitive, but these are great qualities in a children's book. Pete's button song is so catchy and fun, I find myself singing it to my toddler randomly throughout the day. Best of all, there's not a lot of text on each page, which is great for little ones who don't have much of an attention span. It's worth noting the illustrations are bold, adorable, and definitely unique to the Pete the Cat series.My son is 3 years old and is obsessed with this book, but I feel like he would have enjoyed it just as much at 2 or 2.5 years old. So don't be put off by the "4-7 year old" age range listed on this product page.

I have a list on Amazon of "best baby gifts." It's full of brands I've liked, products that have been absolutely INDISPENSABLE in the first couple of years for my kiddo, books that we loved, etc. We have a number of Pete the Cat books, but NONE of them beat Pete the Cat and his Four Groovy Buttons. The message is really great ("even things we really like go away sometimes, but that's ok----we should be grateful for the things we still have, because they're pretty cool too!"), Pete is (obviously) a great character, the colors are fun----you name it. We also credit this book for our 20 month old kiddo knowing how to count 1-4 by ~18 months (and it's DEFINITELY where she learned "POP!" and "OH NO!" from----which are ADORABLE!).
