This is not a good buy. It played two times and stopped playing. The book appears thick, but only has a few pages. There are only 5 sounds made--a tractor engine, horn, horse, duck, owl. How many tiny children have ever heard an owl? The story line is interspersed with pictures of objects--along with their names beside them. This is very confusing when trying to read the story to a child. I am not pleased with this product at all. My grandson is two and crazy about tractors and animals.. This did not keep his attention for one minute. Yet, he has a book entitled "The Crippled Lamb" and he will bring it to me to read to him. The flaps covering the pictures are fllimsy and will tear off unless the child is super careful handling it. Fair warning on this product!
Fun sounds and great book for baby to toddler
My grandson just loves this book. He is 2 and is all into trucks tractors and anything with wheals. This book was his fav at his birthday.
Our grandson at 22 months loved this book and I'm sure will for a couple more years.,. It is absolutely adorable! The tractor sounds exactly like a tractor starting up and then running, so cute!
Only 5 pages, did not work properly from the beginning. After closing tab that you lift to engage the sound, the sound would continue even with the book closed. Get it at Kohl's cheaper with one of the %off coupons you receive in the mail.
This always peeked my toddlers interest, as he LOVES everything tractor. I was a tad disappointed when there was only ONE tractor sound. :( the peek a boo flaps are great, and the sound technology is light activated, which is unique, but makes it difficult to read in minimal light.Overall, a good book, the title is misleading, and I wouldn't purchase again for the price.
Unfortunately the book doesn't work well. This was an exchange, and the exchange item was defective as well. When you lift the flaps the book is supposed to make noise. At first it was making noise with about half the flaps (theres only about 5 or 6)...now a few days later, no noises at all (and yes I even replaced the batteries.)
Package came very quickly! Sadly, when I went to open the flaps the sound did not work. I got extra batteries in case that was the problem but still no sound. Very disappointed with this product
